What is EAP?
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is a form of animal-assisted psychotherapy involving the client, practitioner, and the horse/s.

We offer individual counselling sessions and group programs that are psycho-educational or therapeutic in nature.
Why Horses?
Horses offer a powerful opportunity for learning, growth, change, and healing in clients. Horses do this by virtue of their unique characteristics.

Alana Browne, Psychologist and Equine Assisted Psychotherapist for Open Paddock has over 10 years experience offering assessment, counselling, and facilitating group programs in a variety of fields. She is passionate about working with horses-as-supports in the therapeutic and learning process.
